Even at oldest version of the Play Store, app downloads and updates still stay stucked. Try disabling Bluetooth on the watch forcing it to connect to Wi-Fi and see if that has any impact.
I guess I'll be waiting for a fix. I hope the dev team is working on it. Thanks a lot for your support. That should capture some logs that might help to diagnose the problem.
Same for me. When I switch connection from bluetooth only to wifi only then download works. But I do not want to use wifi, only bluetooth. It just keeps on saying ‘Download Pending’. The download doesn’t even begin. And this is not the case with a particular app, but the whole Play Store starts behaving in this manner.
